Founded in 2012, NRG Electrical started with two employees. Through sustained investment, rapid growth, and a focus on diversification, the business introduced HVAC-R/Mechanical services in 2015. Two years later, we became the brand we are today: NRG Services. The word ‘services’ encapsulates everything we have become – a diverse trade services business.
In 2021, we acquired pioneer energy management company Hexeis, and two years later, we established NRG-ONE to address a gap in the market: supporting forward-thinking organisations with their transition to net zero. Today, the three companies employ over 250 people and have offices in Brisbane, Toowoomba, and Roma.
As the business has grown exponentially over the years, we have stayed true to our brand promise, ‘leave it better than we found it’, and remained focused on nurturing a culture of growth and opportunity where people work for each other. Simply put, when people like coming to work and feel appreciated and valued, they will bring their best, and the results become a by-product.
