Goondiwindi Hospital
Following a successful tendering process, our team worked alongside our client, Darling Downs Health, in a detailed and complex project spanning 13 months, to construct and commission extensive works while the hospital maintained its day-to-day operations. Harnessing a staged methodology, our team also worked through constraints with power availability to deliver the project.
- Hospital-wide upgrade of HVAC systems, including replacement within theatre, Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD), and isolation rooms.
- Removal of end-of-life major plant and supply, installation and commissioning of new chillers, air handling units, duct work, and associated air delivery systems.
- Suspended slab construction to supply and deliver a new services building to house mechanical plant.
- Construction of an Oral Health Clinic inclusive of electrical, mechanical, communications, security and nurse call.
- Hospital-wide demolition of the chilled water pipe and installation of the new four-pipe heating cooling system.
- Hospital-wide demolition of medical gases and installation of medical gas pipe reticulation, plus the addition of a suction plant and medical compressed air plant.
- New electrical infrastructure supplied from the main switchboard to mechanical switchboards for facilitation of upgrade works.
- Building and compliance upgrade works across the hospital and car parks. Plus, new roof access walkways to increase service safety and height accessibility.
