NRG Services were engaged to design an eight-room accommodation precinct inclusive of communal kitchen facilities and outdoor areas to comfortably house rural placement medical students. Each single room required individual ensuite facilities to provide a more sensible solution for the client, in comparison to accommodating students in a share-house style setting.
The accommodation facility was a complete turn-key offering from NRG Services, ensuring a smooth tendering, design, DA, and BA process. The location of the project required an involved level of local Council and Town planner consultation to ensure compliance. The completed project exceeded the initial expectations of the organisations, concerns were expressed around the potential look of the facility, but the result was very aesthetically pleasing.
