NRG Services is proud to be a major partner of the Western Clydesdales ahead of the landmark return to the Hostplus Cup in 2023.

The two organisations have begunan extensive collaboration, which was kicked off with the recent NRG/Western Clydesdales’ Golf day.

The golf day raised $40,000.00 for the club and was a successful day supported by many like-minded local businesses.

Clydesdales Commercial Manager Fraser Hess said they were thrilled to partner with another ambitious Toowoomba-based business with interests across the south-west, with the NRG logo to proudly adorn the back of the club’s playing shorts across the grades.

“To have the support of a well-known and respected local company is a massive boost for our club,” Hess said.

“We’re excited to partner with NRG as it will be wonderful working with partners who have built a successful business in a short amount of time. This is essentially what we aspire to do ourselves with the Clydesdales.

“A big part of our vision is thinking outside of rugby league as well and how we can provide opportunities for people in our club. This partnership will go a long way in assisting us to recruit Hostplus Cup players and provide career opportunities as well as rugby leauge opportunities.”

The Western Clydesdales bring rugby league to southwest Queensland, with their catchment extending from Gatton to Roma, and from the QLD/NSW border into the South Burnett region (near Gympie).

NRG’s Managing Director Dan Briskey said the support of Western Clydesdale continues their strong commitment to supporting the local community.

“We are delighted to support the Clydesdales and the club’s efforts to develop our local footy talent and provide some entertaining footy for our community,” Briskey said. “We’re looking forward to a strong partnership.”
